Telephony and VoIP

Traditional telephony methods are quickly yielding to Voice over IP (VoIP) technology, also known as IP Telephony and Internet Telephony. It makes international and multi-branch voice communications a lot cheaper. Studies have shown that, compared to using a Packet-Switched Telephone Network (PSTN) line, using VoIP can potentially make you save up to 40% on local calls and up to 90% on international calls. 

Working with our call billing partners, we will analyse your existing telephony costs and advise how you can make significant reductions and provide an efficient system based on the leading Avaya IP Office platform. Hosted Telephony

Chess ICT's hosted telephony services offer clients an effective and viable alternative to a traditional system, particularly for companies which operate from more than one office or have staff working from home who need telephones. Hosted at a remote, centralised location, this service is delivered through the internet via ADSL or leased lines. It allows customers and colleagues to connect at a minimal cost and calls can even be transferred as if it was to a phone in the next room. Incorporating all of the standard functionality of a traditional telephone system, Hosted VOIP can also feature as soft phones for desktop and laptop devices as well as Apps for the majority of smart phones and tablets on the market, ensuring that you can be in contact anywhere, on any device.
